Shearwater National Championships 2025

Join us for the prestigious Shearwater National Championships from August 7-10, 2025. This exciting event brings together top sailors from across the country to compete in the thrilling Shearwater catamaran class.

Hosted by Minnis Bay Sailing Club, this championship promises four days of intense racing, camaraderie, and unforgettable sailing experiences.

Sailing Instructions will be available after midnight Friday 01 August.

Schedule (to be confirmed)

• August 6: Arrival and welcome evening with bar open from 6pm
• August 7: Registration and Championship races 1-3. Curry night
• August 8: Championship races 4-6, plus crew's race. Shearwater AGM & BBQ
• August 9: Championship races 7-9. Fish & Chips + theme night
• August 10: Championship races 10-12. Prize giving. 80's disco and BBQ
